BROWNIES

The Brownie is called a variety of names depending on location and typically is a small and shaggy man, wrinkled and brown in appearance, standing some twenty-five inches in height and either naked or dressed in tattered brown clothes. While Highland Brownies have no fingers or toes, Loland Brownies have no noses.

CENTAURS

The Centaur was known to various cultures in the Middle and Near East, but we are acquainted with this creature primarily through Greek Lore. Centaurs were almost always portrayed as male, although there must have been females as well.
The Centaurs pictured in Greek art had the upper body, head, and arms of a human and the lower body and legs of a stallion/mare. They were a wild, shaggy, ancient people, renowned for their wizardry, who primarily inhabited the mountainous regions of Arcadia and Thessaly in Greece. Although handsome in appearance, their character, more often than not, left much to be desired.

DWARFS

Short but powerfully built, they are generally bearded and aged in appearance since they reach maturity at three years old and are grey-bearded by the age of seven. Their homes are the mountains of Scandinavia and Germany where they mine for precious metals to work into arms and armour and other artifacts which are often endowed with magic porperties.
It is believed they cannot appear above the ground during the day as one ray of sunlight would turn them to stone. Some believe they spend the daylight hours as toads.
